When speaking as part of the Women in the Whedonverse panel at Orlando's FX convention, Morena Baccarin discussed the subject of
"V". "I just shot the pilot," she says, "which I'm looking forward to seeing whether I'm in it or not. I don't know if you remember the show, but I remember sitting up one night with my brother and we were both petrified when their faces peeled off. [Thankfully] I didn't have to do any prosthetics.
"My character's name is Anna," she continues, "and she's modeled a little bit after the Diana character in the original. From what I remember, Diana was vicious. She was eating hamsters and killing people. We toned it down a little bit and they're a little friendlier to the human race when they first arrive. I can't reveal too much about it, because the series isn't picked up yet. It's just a pilot and we're waiting to hear. But there's some sick stuff in it, which is pretty great."
