Like everyone else involved with the new "V," actor Alan Tudyk seems to be under a kind of gag order not to discuss the project in any kind of detail. Nonetheless, IGN, taking part in a telephone press conference connected to Joss Whedon's Dollhouse, reports that he made a few comments about the project, among them that although he and his former Firefly co-star Morena Baccarin had no scenes together, they managed to hang out a bit. Additionally, Buffy and Firefly effects house Zoic Studios handled the VFX for the pilot.
"I can say this," offered the actor who plays Dale Maddox, "it's really good. I hope they pick it up. If you're a fan -- which I was at the beginning -- of the first one, this is kind of everything that you remember without going back and watching. Because if you go back and watch the original 'V', you're, like, 'Oh, I thought this was great. It looks really kind of cheesy.' This new version fills in your memory as it should be."
