In the pilot, Arngrim playsthe wheelchair-bound Roy who suddenly -- thanks to Visitor intervention -- reacquires the power to walk. This causes a kind of fanaticism among believers in the Vs, who now more than ever are looking at the aliens as gods, making it even more difficult for those who are fighting against them. In an exclusive "Lizardlady" interview, Arngrim explains of the part, "Like all characters I play, roy is just a part of me that I turn the gain up on as required....Roy is virtually all flaws and weaknesses -- except for one, that I hope I shall get to reveal on upcoming episodes."
