Japan's Prime Minister Wants To Read More Comics

New Japanese PM Taro Aso lamented to an audience in Tokyo on Sunday that running the country leaves him too little time for reading comic books.
Aso usually takes comics on trips abroad but only finished two weekly magazines.

The PM used his October 26th speech in the Akihabara district to praise Japan's subculture, especially comic books, as a key export. "Japan's culture is not only kabuki or no play. Comic books, our subculture power, have been widely read in not only Asia but Europe, the United States, Latin America."
