I wish I could say I was joking! Take the jump to read the full article...
Remember when "Weekend At Bernie's" came out in 1989 and you thought that the comedy was far fetched? Think again.
Two women have been arrested following an attempt to take a dead body on an airplane. The women claim they they thought he was asleep.
Curt Willi Jarant, 91, was scheduled to fly to Berlin with his wife and step-daughter when the airport staff became suspicious due to fact that he was not moving and was wearing sunglasses. His family was attempting to check him in anyways.
Anke Anusic, his step-daughter, said: "They would think that for 24 hours we would carry a dead person? This is ridiculous. He was moving, he was breathing. Eight people saw him. He was pale but he wasn't dead".
Both women insist that because his eyes were closed they believed he was simply sleeping. Honestly this story is just crazy enough that there is nothing I can really add to it...check out the BBC link below for the full story!
