Bluewater Comics is Growing, With High Hopes for 2008 and Beyond
Darren G. Davis, publisher of Bluewater Productions, Inc., announces his publishing docket for 2008, including several new titles!
Bluewater also will be announcing a couple big licensed titles in a couple months. Davis also states, “When we launched I wanted to do no more than 3-5 titles a month. This year we are expanding a little to 5-7 titles a month. None of the titles we do will compete with each other. We want to stay smaller to become stronger year by year. Quality of our books is still #1 and will continue to be. We are in it for the long haul. “

Bringing back one of the classic IMAGE COMICS characters. Chassis comes to Bluewater!
Welcome to a 1949 that never was. Enter a reality where WWII never happened, Eleanor Roosevelt is President, and science has advanced at an amazing pace. Time has twisted creating a world filled with zoot suit robots, zeppelin nightclubs, art deco skylines, and Rocket Car Racing!
Welcome to the future. Welcome to the World of Chassis.
Rocket car racing, also known as the Aero-Run, is the world's most popular sport. It's a high stakes spectacle of speed and peril where flying rocket cars race at breakneck speeds around hairpin turns and gut wrenching drops. Its drivers are legendary, but the money and power that runs the sport is deeply corrupt. Chassis, the 17-year-old daughter of Charles Foster McBain, one of the aero-run founders, desperately wants to be a rocket racer but her father won't allow it. Partially due to the dangers of the sport, but mostly because of the nefarious gangsters and corporate thugs who control it. So, the brash young girl, with the help of her robotic mechanic and best friend, Slic, devises a plan to enter the race under the alias pilot zero in hopes of proving to her father that she's up to the challenge. But Chassis' daring decision only leads to more danger for her Father, and her friends as it rips apart the only life she’s ever known.
Check out all of these Bluewater titles in the coming year. If your comic shop doesn’t carry them, ask for them by name!
