New Clip from Will Ferrell's Everything Must Go
Will Ferrell trades light-hearted comedy for black comedy in this new movie from first-time director Dan Rush.
A new preview clip from Will Ferrell's upcoming dramedy Everything Must Go, has just been released online. Adapted from Raymond Carver's short story "Why Don't You Dance?" by first-time director Dan Rush, the movie follows a career salesman (Ferrell) on a downward spiral who loses everything and struggles to forge ahead.
Here's the official synopsis of the movie:
Everything Must Go tells the story of Nick Porter (Ferrell) a career salesman whose days of being on top are long gone. The same day Nick gets fired, for falling off the wagon one last time, he returns home to discover his wife has left him, changed the locks on their suburban home and dumped all his possessions out on the front yard. Faced with his life imploding, Nick puts it all on the line – or more properly, on the lawn — reluctantly holding a yard sale that becomes a unique strategy for survival.
In this clip, Nick decides that his Playboy magazines are just too "valuable" to sell.
Everything Must Go opens May 13th!
