Megan Fox is Mickey Rourke’s "Passion"
Mickey Rourke and Megan Fox team up for the other-worldly drama, "Passion Plays."
Thanks to an award-winning performance in last year’s The Wrestler, Mickey Rourke suddenly has no shortage of film roles to choose from. Rourke recently wrapped principal photography on 13 with Jason Statham and is rumored to be attached to several high-profile films, including Sin City 2, Iron Man 2 and Rambo V.
In his latest project, Passion Plays, Rourke plays a down-on-his-luck musician who attempts to save an angel (Megan Fox) from gangsters. Mitch Glazer, a personal friend of Rourke’s dating back to their time at Miami High School together, is writing and directing the film.
Megan Fox’s star is also on the rise. In addition to Transformers 2, Megan Fox, has been attached to star in two other upcoming genre pictures: Jonah Hex, a Western starring Josh Brolin adapted from the classic DC Comics series of the same name; and, Fathom, and underwater actioner based upon the character created by the late Michael Turner.
There is no scheduled release date for Passion Plays
