Stunning short "The Gift" goes Hollywood

An amazing short from Carl Erik Rinsch has studios begging for more.
Collider is reporting that....

Commercial director Carl Erik Rinsch was originaly intended to direct the "Alien" prequel as his first feature film , But since the gig went to Ridley Scott, he took part in electronic giant Phillips' short-film experiment. That event allowed five filmmakers to make a short own movie using the same piece of dialogue.

Rinsch delivered "The Gift," which is being described as Bourne-with-a-robot. This stunning (IMO) mini movie is set in a futuristic Moscow police-state.

This Wednesday the short was released and a bidding war broke out between major studios including long time rivals Warner Bros and Fox, who see feature potential in the short. Early indications show the project will end up at Fox, because Rinsch is part of of RSA, Ridley Scott's commercial house that produced the short, and Scott has a longtime association with Fox.

Here is this incredible short...........

Personally I think it's stunning, and in such a small movie has me more impressed than some of the recent big money releases.

So what do you think??
