Factory Entertainment Launches the 007 Collection
No secret agent is as world famous as 007 himself, James Bond. Now, Bond fans can have their own piece of the action as Factory Entertainment reveals an officially licensed line of prop replicas of some of the most iconic items in the James Bond film series.
Under license from Danjaq LLC on behalf of the films’ producer, EON Productions, these extraordinary, limited-edition replicas begin with one of the most stunning of them all: The Golden Gun Limited Edition, a 1:1 scale replica of the nefarious Scaramanga’s titular weapon in THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN. Only 1,000 pieces will be produced worldwide.
The Golden Gun Limited Edition is available for pre-order beginning today through Factory Entertainment’s website at www.factoryent.com . Depending on availability, it will be available at select retailers in the fall.
The all-metal, machine-cast replica is plated in 18-carat gold and can be assembled and disassembled into its component parts: a lighter, a cigarette case, a fountain pen and a cufflink. The Golden Gun Limited Edition also features a replica bullet with the 007 logo (the gun is a non-firing replica), a display stand, acrylic cover, detailed story booklet about the Golden Gun, a certificate of authenticity and a numbered, limited-edition plaque. This limited-edition piece is priced at $499.
Scaramanga famously only needed “one, Mr. Bond,” but Factory Entertainment is offering two Golden Guns, including The Golden Gun Dual Signature Edition, which features the same high-quality replica – plus a numbered plaque hand-signed by both Sir Roger Moore and Sir Christopher Lee, commemorating their roles in this action-adventure classic. The Golden Gun Dual Signature Edition, available exclusively at www.factoryent.com , is strictly limited to just 400 pieces and is priced at $649.
As with all the items in the amazing 007 Collection from Factory Entertainment, both editions of The Golden Gun are based on meticulous studies and examinations of actual screen-used props, augmented by in-depth research and interviews with cast and crew members involved in production, which together with the official license from Danjaq and EON ensures maximum accuracy.
The first items in Factory Entertainment’s 007 Collection also include:
Jaws Teeth Signature Edition – From The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) & Moonraker (1979)
Cast from the same molds as the original prop teeth and made from highly polished, dental-grade stainless steel, this very special signature edition replica includes a plaque hand signed by Richard Kiel, who portrayed the villainous Jaws in both films. The Jaws Teeth Signature Edition also includes a display stand, acrylic cover, reproduction tram cable (as gnawed on by Jaws), detailed prop story booklet and a certificate of authenticity.
Price $199. Numbered, limited edition of 715 pieces worldwide.
Solitaire’s Tarot Cards Collectors Edition – From Live and Let Die (1973)
An exact copy of the beautiful tarot cards hand-made for the film. Factory Entertainment’s cards were scanned directly from the originals and digitally restored to match their on-screen appearance in every way, complete with red “007” icon card backs and original card art and card names. This set includes a screen-accurate set of 22 different cards and 7 duplicate “lovers’” cards that have been litho-printed onto an ultra-heavyweight stock. The cards come in a presentation box with a velvet storage bag, and also feature a detailed prop story booklet and certificate of authenticity.
