Bourne Legacy Closing in On New Action Hero
Matt Damon has made no secret that he wasn't interested in a fourth Bourne film, but that doesn't mean there won't be a new entry in the series. The twist is that The Bourne Legacy will focus on a different character in that universe, and at the moment director Tony Gilroy is closing in on casting the role.
According to MTV, these are the four contenders at this point:
Joel Edgerton: Star of the forthcoming prequel to The Thing. He had previously been in Animal Kingdom and will be seen in Warrior.
Dominic Cooper: Soon to be known to comic book movie fans as Howard Stark in Captain America: The First Avenger, this actor has been in Mamma Mia and An Education, and will portray Henry Sturgess in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.
Garrett Hedlund: He portrayed Sam Flynn in Tron: Legacy and, if there is a sequel, is expected to star in the continuing adventures on The Grid.
Luke Evans: Co-starring with Superman himself, Henry Cavill, in the forthcoming Immortals, the actor had previously been seen in Clash of the Titans.
