Stallone to Direct Headshot?
One thing that has not changed over the years is that actor/writer/director Sylvester Stallone absolutely has a point of view and isn't afraid to share it. That sometimes leads to "creative differences," which seems to be the case with his next film, the actioner Headshot.
The film was originally supposed to see Wayne Kramer directing the screenplay by Alessandro Camon. Through the development process, however, it became obvious that Kramer and Stallone saw the film evolving differently, resulting in what has alternately been described as a volatile and amicable parting of the ways. Perhaps Stallone will just end up directing himself, much as he did recently with The Expendables.
There is also word that Stallone has had discussions with veteran director Walter Hill (48 Hrs., The Warriors, Red Heat) about stepping in, but no final word on that front as of yet.
