Tim Kring's Touch Pilot Gets New Executive Producer
Creator/Executive producer Tim Kring is reteaming with his Providence partner, executive producer Carol Barbee, for the Kiefer Sutherland-starring pilot he's got going at NBC, Touch.
The pilot and potential series is about a father (played by Sutherland) who discovers that his autistic and mute son is using numbers in a way that may be predicting future events.
Of the script, Deadline quotes Barbee as saying, "It was very ambitious and emotional. I love the idea of how we all are connected, we all are one, and the idea of the special-needs child at the heart of the story is very touching to me as a mother."
Like the other networks,NBC will announce its Fall schedule in May.
