Starz Entertainment has green-lit a new original adventure series titled “Da Vinci’s Demons,” developed and produced by BBC Worldwide Productions. This is the first project to enter production under the multi-year agreement Starz signed with BBC Worldwide Productions earlier this summer.

The CW has announced that a remake of the 1987-1990 TV series Beauty and the Beast is in development under the guidance of the original's creator, Ron Koslow, Without a Trace's Jennifer Levin and Brothers & Sisters' Sherri Cooper.
