FX Goes to Space with U.S.S. Alabama
At the annual Television Critic's Association (TCA), FX announced that it will be offering up the space comedy U.S.S. Alabama, created by Reno 911's Ben Garant and Thomas Lennon.
FX President John Landgraf explained, "It takes place in space with a crew of spacefarers who might not be much brighter than the cops in Reno 911. It will be partially scripted and partially improvised like 'Reno 911.'"
The series is set to launch in September.
