Should The Internet Fans Be Heard Or Just Shut Up?

I think it rocks that Iron Man 2 is basing there success or failure blamed on the movies director listening to ideas from the fans.
Should our voices be heard? That's like asking "Should Bale change his Batman voice?" The answer is Hell yes. Even though some of our opinions are way off and based only on our own selfish desires, some of us have very good and crystal clear points. If I were a director I would be on this site just to consider what the TRUE fans want and expect. What better experience to collect then experience from someone who has grown up watching or reading there favorite comic book character for 10, 15, sometimes 20 years. That's 20 years of experience or do you take the experience from say a overpaid writer or studio heads who only care about the bottom line?

More from Peter over at Cinematical:

"Lane Brown at New York Magazine's Vulture blog takes that idea further, giving odds on four "massively anticipated" movies that will 'have their failure blamed on a director listening to people on the Internet.' Lane lists Jon Favreau's Iron Man 2, Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds, Spike Jonze's Where the Wild Things Are, and Sylvester Stallone's The Expendables as the most likely suspects.

Personally, I see nothing wrong with filmmakers paying attention to what fans are saying. And if they choose to change their movies based on the opinions of an unruly mob of fanboys, that says more about them than it does about the Internet."

Let your voices be heard. I think it rocks that Iron Man 2, Inglourious Basterds, Where the Wild Things Are, and The Expendables are basing there success or failure blamed on the movies director listening to ideas from the fans. That's what this site is all about!!!!

What do you guys think? Should your voice as ComicBookMovie fans continue to be heard? Or should we all just shut up and wait for the movie to come out before saying a word?
