Nightmare On Elm Street reboot Gets Release Date
Wanna know when Freddy will come stab you out of your dreams?
New Line Cinema announced today that they will release their reboot of A Nightmare on Elm Street in theaters on April 16, 2010. Shooting for the remake begins next month in Chicago with Samuel Bayer behind the camera.
No news yet on who will play Freddy Krueger and what direction they are taking the background on how Freddy became, well, Freddy. Hopefully we will get a serious tone and not the campy played out versions of the movies that were released later on in the franchise's first run. This reboot truly needs to be a reboot.
