The girl next door is going to be terrified when Freddy comes back. Nancy Thompson has just been cast.
Sounds like Rooney Mara will fill the shoes of Nancy Thompson, check out the pic below. This is as good of choice I think as any. As long as New Line found an actress with that "girl next door" feeling they will be ok. Now if we can just get that 80's hair due back and for the movie to include the "Screw your passsssssss" scene we would have a sure hit home run. If only we could get Nancy back in the tight rolled stone wash jeans, talk about nostalgia,,oh the 80's.
