Trick or Treat Finally Going To Be Released
Be entertained, watch one of the most original Halloween holiday lore based movie trailers, Trick or Treat is finally being released!
Trick or Treat was suppose to be released in theatres two years ago, giving Michael Dougherty (Screenwriter for Superman Returns and X2) his Directorial Debut. For reason's untold the studio choose to not release this film. Which makes absolutely no sense at all.
This is the first original horror movie in 20 or so years that looks like it had potential blockbuster quality. At the end of the below trailer it says "Coming to DVD and Blu-Ray in October. Finally the movie going audience will at least have a chance to rent this movie.
If your any kind of fan at all of Halloween there will be no way you wont enjoy this film. It seems to reach the far places of the Halloween mythology, for instance why we light Jock O Lanterns, what the witching hour truly means. I for one have been waiting to see this film for two years and am happy that it will finally get some kind of release, but not the movie release it should have gotten. With any luck the studio will realize how much of a mistake they made by not putting this film into theatres and let Michael Dougherty make a sequel. Off course that depends on how much money the DVD and Blue-Ray release generates.
